In order to support the primary production of annual and perennial crops, a state program to support agricultural production was implemented.
Program Objectives: To increase access to agricultural machinery; Increase in the volume and quality of agricultural production in the closed ground; Increase in the volume and quality of one-year agricultural production in the open ground.
The program was implemented in all municipalities of Georgia, except for self-governing cities.
As of December 31, 2020, 374 unique beneficiaries had signed 384 contracts under the program. The investment amounted to GEL 20,171,540, of which GEL 9,651,127 was co-financed by the contracted agency.
