The program - "Young Entrepreneur" was implemented for young Georgian citizens interested in doing business in rural areas
The program was initiated by the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and was implemented by the Rural Development Agency with funding from the donor organization, the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA).
The program provided financial and technical assistance in three stages:
- Technical assistance before receiving co-financing;
- Co-financing - financial assistance;
- Further co-financing technical assistance.
Within the program from 2018 to December 31, 2021, 243 unique beneficiaries made 244 contracts. The investment amounted to GEL 24,841,335, of which GEL 9,643,437 was co-financed by the agency.
